(Oblong) — The Village of Oblong is inviting everyone to a very special dedication at the Municipal Building. The village will be dedicating a POW-MIA chair tomorrow morning at 11am. The village will be receiving help with the dedication from Rolling Thunder. Rolling Thunder is a United States advocacy group that seeks to bring full accountability for prisoners of war (POWs) and missing in action (MIA) service members of all U.S. wars. They will be making there way in to town on Route 33 from the West via a Police and Fire escort at around 10:15 in the morning. They will proceed east to the park and around the lake, ending at the municipal building on South Range for the 11am dedication. Everyone is encouraged to line the route and welcome them to town and join the ceremony.
