(Robinson) — The Robinson City Council got a clean audit report, talked Harvest Festival, Autumnfest and got a report from the Tourism Committee during last nights meeting. According to Kemper CPA Group the City had a very good year and the 2017 Audit Report looked good. Glenda Fulling Chairman of the Heath Harvest Festival asked the council for additional street closings. The First Baptist Church will have their annual Autumnfest Sunday, October 29th from 2-4pm. Everyone is welcome to attend and the the Robinson Tourism Committee awarded money to six local entities. The Oblong Chamber of Commerce got $1,250. The City of Robinson Parks Dept. received $7,200. The RHS Color Guard Clinic was awarded $1,000 and the RHS Marching Maroons Band Festival got $1,200. The Committee gave $250 to the RHS Jingle 5K Fun Run. Finally the Community Revitalization and Beautification got just over $7400 for the Christmas Magic Festival. In other business the City Council decided that condemnation proceedings will begin on 707 S. Cross street. The building is considered to be unsafe.
