The Centers for Disease Control on Friday said that Illinois is among 23 states which have been hit hard by the flu this season. The Crawford County Health Department reminds you that along with getting a flu shot there are some other simple steps you can take to keep yourself healthy. Wash your hands often with soap and water, or use an alcohol based hand sanitizer. Cover your cough or sneeze with your upper sleeve, and try to avoid touching your face with your hand.
