(Robinson) — Robinson Chamber of Commerce Officials met Thursday Afternoon at Tuscany Grill for their monthly meeting. At the meeting, chamber officials were informed that Wal-Mart was raising their employee minimum wage in February to $11 per hour and giving out one-time bonuses to employees up to one thousand dollars. It was announced that TJ Tingley from State Farm has moved to his new office just off of Main and he has also opened a satellite office in Terre Haute. Gina Mills of Country Financial has also recently opened a satellite office in Sullivan, Indiana. Also at the meeting, chamber members in attendance were given information and talked to about Air Evac and their services. Finally, chamber officials are getting ready to prepare for their Chamber Dinner in March. More information will be released on that in a few weeks. The next chamber meeting is February 8th at noon at Tuscany Grill.
