Blood Drives Continue In The County

(Undated) — If you missed yesterdays Red Cross blood drive in Palestine they will be in Hutsonville at the High School today from 1:30-5:30. The Red Cross is asking for donations of all blood types but donations of type-O-negative blood, which is considered to be “universal” is most desirable. Double red cell donations will also be taken during todays drive. During a red cell donation, two units of blood cells are taken while most plasma and platelets are returned to the donor. The Red Cross will be back in Palestine at the High School on the 23rd from 12:30-5:30 and finally for this month the Red Cross will be at NMS on the 25th from 2-7pm.
