Robinson Unit 2 Board Looked at Security Last Night

(Robinson) — The Robinson Unit 2 Board held their March meeting last night and there are some positive moves towards safety and security at all district schools. Right now some brainstorming and research is underway. The goal is to make the counties schools safer and the issue is being taken seriously. The board also wishes to thank the Robinson Police Department for their support & presence at the schools. Preliminary plans are being looked at for a new transportation facility to be located on the high school grounds. Drawings have been rendered and the board is taking the plans under consideration. A resolution was passed to begin the process of looking into the sale of the former unit two facilities at the old Heath building on south Jackson. The issue is being explored. The Unit 2 board also renewed their IHSA membership and again remind parents that the NMS 8th Grade Recognition Night will be May 17th at 6pm.
