Lawrenceville Nursing Home Facing $25,000 Fine

(Lawrenceville) – An area nursing home is facing a fine from the Illinois Department of Public Health. According to the IDPH First Quarter Report for 2018, the United Methodist Village in Lawrenceville was fined twenty five thousand dollars. They United Methodist Village was cited with class “A” violations. The IDPH identifies an “A” violation as one that creates a condition in which there is a substantial probability that death or serious mental or physical harm will result or has resulted.
