Robinson Township Board Talked Road Work and The Cemetery

(Robinson) – Road work and some changes at the Robinson New Cemetery were the focus of yesterdays Robinson Township Board meeting. Highway Commissioner Monty Murray reported that repairs are being made to county roads and they are being prepared for summer hot patch mix. In other business, the fees for graves in the Robinson cemetery will see a slight increase. Effective May 1st the cost will increase to $400 on weekdays before 3:30pm, $600 after 4pm and Saturday and $800 Sunday & holidays. The increase is to help offset the cost of overtime. There will also be a new addition to the Robinson New Cemetery. A Columbarium will be placed on the east side at the top of the hill. This unit is for cremated remains. The unit will have enough space for 96 urns.
