(Oblong) – A walk-off sac fly in the bottom of the seventh proved to be the difference as the Oblong Panthers picked up a 5-4 win over Villa Grove yesterday. The game was tied at four when Tanner Otey’s sac fly scored the winning run. Josh Bailey earned the win the Panthers. He surrendered three runs on three hits over two-thirds of an inning, striking out one and walking one. Kacey Cheek started the and surrendered one run on two hits over six and a third innings, striking out 17 and walking one. With the win the Panthers improve to 6-6 on the season and will be back in action tonight as they host Red Hill.
