(Palestine) – The Palestine Unit 3 Board took care of a handful of items in preparation for the 2018-2019 school year. The board awarded the contracts for bread and milk. The board also approved the Risk Management Plan, fee schedule, the agreement with CMH for athletic training as well as the annual prevailing wage ordinance. In other business the board also authorized the superintendent to being planning the budget. The Unit 3 Board also took care of a handful of personnel moves. They also heard a presentation from the Robinson Enterprise Zone. The Palestine Unit 3 Board agreed to a tax abatement for 5 years for the purposes of new construction in the Palestine School District and new job opportunities.
