Seesaw Weather Continues For the Area

(Undated) – The seesaw weather looks like it is going to continue for the area the next couple of days. According to the National Weather Service the afternoons heat index will range from 98 to 103 degrees. As a cool front slips south across the area late this afternoon, there is a chance of isolated to widely scattered thunderstorms through early evening. That front is going to provide a brief respite from the oppressive heat and humidity Wednesday and Thursday with daytime highs in the mid to upper 80’s both days. The heat and humidity will return for the weekend with high temperatures back in the 90’s and afternoon heat indices above 100.
