(Undated) – If you have gassed up in the last couple of days you know prices have started to come back down. According to Gasbuddy.com the average price at the pump in Crawford County is at 2.80 a gallon down almost a dime from where it was on Monday. However the statewide average for Illinois has continued to climb to just under the three dollar mark. The price at the pump in Indiana continues to be lower and is also trending downward with a statewide average of 2.85 a gallon, down a nickel from Mondays average. The national average gas price held virtually steady over the past week, falling just a tenth of a penny to an average of 2.86 a gallon. In addition, the national average is virtually unchanged versus a month ago.
