(Oblong) – The Oblong Golf Team kicked off their 2018 season with a second place finish yesterday at Oak Glen Golf Course. The Panthers carded a team score of 224. The low card leader for the Panthers was Jonathon Littlejohn who shot a 48. Jake Smothers carded a 57. Hayden Johnson shot a 58 and Joseph Pugh carded a 61. Marshall won the meet with a team score of 207. The Hutsonville Tigers also took part, but did not have enough players for a team score, however Trent Matthews carded a 48, Aaron Nehs shot an 81 and Bill Mattingly finished with an 86. The Oblong Panthers will be back in action on the 13th for an 18 hole tournament at Quail Creek Country Club.
