(Palestine) — The Palestine Police Department is investigating a “hit & run” accident that occurred around 12:30 yesterday afternoon. According to Chief Jeff Besing a red 2008 Cadillac 4 door sedan was parked on the west side of the street across from McNair’s Hardware in Palestine when it was struck by an unknown vehicle. The red Cadillac received damage to the driver’s side rear corner bumper. Anyone witnessing or having information on this accident is asked to call Chief Besing at the Palestine Village Hall or at 546-1515.
