Driver Arrested For Fatal Crash

(Robinson, IL)  — The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office says the driver of a vehicle involved in a fatal crash this morning has been arrested. Sheriff Todd Liston says 22-year-old Garick Hough was arrested after being treated at Crawford Memorial Hospital.

Deputies say Hough was driving when his vehicle went off the road and rolled several times at Gordon Junction. 17-year-old Alexis Myers of Robinson was thrown from the vehicle and was pronounced dead by Coroner Earl Deckard. A second passenger, 22-year-old Josiah Coates, was also treated and released from CMH. Deckard is planning to conduct an autopsy on Myers this afternoon.
