Robinson Man Headed To Prison

(Robinson, IL)  –  A Robinson man received a  10 year sentence in Crawford County Circuit Court for burglary. 20-year-old Cody Baird was sentenced to 5 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for aggravated battery causing bodily harm to a correctional officer stemming from a June 13 incident. He will also serve two years mandatory supervised release on the charge. Baird also received three years for a burglary charge. The three years will be served concurrently with the aggravated battery conviction. The burglary charge stems from a January 13th incident in which Baird entered the building of M and M Resale.
