(Palestine) — Palestine could also be getting a dog park. A representative form Leadership Crawford County was at last nights Palestine Village Board meeting to propose the addition of a dog park. The board was receptive to the idea but must seek approval from the park board before a decision can be made. Leadership made a similar proposal at the Oblong Village Board meeting Wednesday evening. In other business, the village received a ten thousand dollar grant to purchase a new mosquito sprayer. The Crawford County Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan has now been approved countywide following Palestines’ approval last night. The Palestine Village board has extended an invitation to Palestine School Board President Corie Biggs to attend their January meeting so the board can get a better understanding of the proposed consolidation with Hutsonville.
