Robinson City Council Passed Tax Levy Ordinance

(Robinson) — The Robinson City Council met Tuesday evening, there was a public Truth & Taxation hearing prior to the regular meeting to discuss the 2018 Tax Levy Ordinance. The ordinance was approved and the 2018 Tax Levy will see an increase over last year of 1.57% for a total of $749,516. The council awarded $2,000 to the Robinson VFW for use at the memorial museum after being approved by the tourism committee. The city will advertise for fuel for 2018 for the city vehicles. Bids must be returned by 10am December 22nd. In other business, City Council meeting dates were set for 2018. They will again meet on the second and fourth Tuesday. December 2018 the council will meet on the fourth Wednesday since Christmas falls on the fourth Tuesday.
