(Undated) — Another blast of winter weather has hit the WTYE listening area. According to the National Weather Service in Lincoln, we are looking at a double barreled blast of winter. The National Weather Service is posting both a Winter Weather Advisory and a Wind Chill Advisory for those in Illinois and Indiana through at least tomorrow evening. The Winter Weather Advisory is in effect till noon today, the Wind Chill Advisory starts later this evening and will stay in effect till noon tomorrow. Forecasters say we could see as much as two inches of snow, then see wind chills as cold as 30 degrees below zero.
