(Undated) — Gas prices locally and across the state continue to trend up thanks to a spike in oil prices. According to GasBuddy.com the price at the pump statewide has jumped up eight cents a gallon from last months average. Around the area Crawford, Jasper and Cumberland counties all share an average price at the pump of 2.61 a gallon. Lawrence County is showing an average price at the pump of 2.47 a gallon. Edgar County is even lower at an average of 2.39 a gallon. The statewide average in Indiana is 2.61 a gallon. Vigo County is looking at 2.58 a gallon. In Sullivan County the average price at the pump is 2.51 a gallon and in Knox County it’s 2.48 a gallon.
