(Undated) — Another round of winter weather could be heading to the WTYE listening area. According to the National Weather Service scattered snow showers are likely late this afternoon resulting in light accumulation. Slick and snow covered roads may linger through tonight as temperatures remain well below freezing. They say we could see up to an inch of accumulation through the early morning tomorrow. The next round will hit the area Tuesday afternoon through Tuesday night. Snow amounts with this system are still uncertain, but could reach one to three inches. A period of freezing rain is possible late Tuesday night, but any icing should be light. Stay tuned to WTYE for the latest weather information and find more online at WTYefm.com.
