(Sullivan, IN) — A Shelburn, Indiana man was arrested yesterday in connection with an October heroin overdose. According to Sullivan County Sheriff Clark Cottom in October of last year his deputies responded to a report of an unconscious male, at a residence in Merom, IN. First responders attempted life saving measures prior to transporting twenty six year old Langdon Bynum to Sullivan County Community Hospital, where he later died. Results of an autopsy confirm that he died of a heroin overdose. Following an investigation police arrested twenty six year old Conner Wright. Officials believe Wright supplied the heroin to Bynum, just hours prior to his death. Wright was charged with one count of Dealing in a Narcotic Drug, a level 5 felony. His bond was set at fifteen thousand dollars. Sheriff Cottom said there has been a resurgence of heroin in Indiana in recent years, including areas as close as Terre Haute and Evansville.
