The Oblong Panthers pell just short on the road at Cumberland 50-49 last night. Connor Potts led the way in the loss for Oblong with 18 points while Kacey Cheek chipped in 12 points to go with 16 rebounds. Nathan Meese was also in double figures with 12.
Lincoln Trail Statesmen and Lady Statesmen are home this afternoon against Shawnee at the Sports Center. Women play at 1 with the men playing at 3.
