Area basketball teams wrapped up regular season play Friday evening. The Maroons lost their regular season finale to Sullivan 55-39. In round three of the Hutsonville-Palestine/Oblong battle, Oblong pulled out a 59-54 victory. All three teams enter tournament play next week. On Monday, Oblong will take on Cisne while Hutsonville-Palestine will take on Martinsville. Both teams beat their first round opponents during the season. Oblong plays at 6 with Hutsonville-Palestine taking on Martinsville after that. If Oblong wins, they take on Altamont Tuesday while if Hutsonville-Palestine wins, they take on St. Elmo on Wednesday. Robinson plays Tuesday night against Harrisburg.
