(Undated) — It was a pitchers dual but Southeastern Illinois was just a little bit stronger at the plate in a victory over the LTC Statesmen Saturday. Nate Beavers was the starter for LTC and he surrendered two runs on six hits over four and two-thirds innings, striking out four. Thomas Cessna threw one and one-third innings in relief. Tanner Robins, Jacob Gonzales, and Bryson Bloomer each collected one hit to lead LTC. The Statesmen will be back in action Thursday as they hit the road to Mt. Carmel.
