(Robinson) — Lincoln Trial College recently hosted more than five hundred area high school students for the Twin Rivers Career Day and the Lincoln Trail College “Celebrate Art!” event. According to LTC President Ryan Gower the event was an opportunity to teach those in attendance that LTC is more than a place to learn how to do something, but rather a place committed to teaching people how to live. Gower says that when employers are asked about the skills and values they most need in the workforce, they report they are looking for people that demonstrate professionalism, are adaptable and open to change, demonstrate superior problem solving skills and have excellent communication skills. Gower says in a effort to prepare their students for this reality Lincoln Trail College has been, and will continue to be, a place where students are provided with an opportunity to learn about both themselves and the world in which they live.
