Robinson City Council Talked Summer and Tourism

(Robinson) — The Robinson City Council met Tuesday evening. Parks & Recreation superintendent Mike Shimer presented the summer schedule of park events as well as services and fees. He also announced the upcoming Easter Egg Hunt at 11am, Saturday, March 31st and wanted to thank the Robinson Rotary Club, Robinson Elks, Hershey & Rural King for their generous donations. There will be more than 11,000 eggs to be hunted. Alderman Troy Pinkston, chairman of the tourism committee brought forth and had approved the tourism applications the committee recommends. Donations include seven thousand nine hundred dollars for the Robinson City Park, five hundred for the Race For Kids, two hundred and eighty to the Illinois Women’s Association and five thousand two hundred to the Robinson Babe Ruth Association.
