(Undated) – Yesterday in the news we talked about how important donating blood this time of year is, and you will have the chance to do your part next week. The American Red Cross will be set up in Oblong at the Municipal Building a week from today from 1-6 for a community blood drive. On June 20th they will be set up at the Robinson Community Center from 1-6. Whether you are making a blood donation or a “Power Red Cell” donation it is important for you to give. According to the Red Cross, while about 38 percent of the population is eligible to give blood, less than 10 percent of those eligible actually do.
