(Robinson) – A single vehicle accident over the weekend led to a trip to the hospital and DUI charges for a Robinson man. According to the Illinois State Police, twenty nine year old Daniel York was driving west on Jasper County 1400 Ave. just west of County Road 1125 when he left the roadway, crossing the ditch and striking a tree. Both York and his passenger, twenty four year old Austin York where taken to St. Anthony Hospital by Jasper County EMS for non-life threatening injuries. Daniel York is facing charges of DUI Alcohol, Improper Lane Usage, Failure to Reduce Speed, Failure to Wear Seat-Belt and expired Registration.
