(Undated) – Another round of storms brought more rain and more flooding. Authorities are once again reminding motorists to be on the lookout for flooding throughout the WTYE listening area. Here at the WTYE studio we recorded almost another three inches of rainfall from yesterday storms. That brings our total since Saturday to over six inches. With such a large amount of rain in such a relatively short period crews are seeing flooding in areas that don’t typically flood, so be alert when traveling. According to the National Weather Service a Flood Warning will go in effect today at 1pm and last through the weekend. We will continue to see a chance of rain through at least tonight, with sunshine returning Wednesday. By the weekend we can expect temperatures in the 90’s with afternoon Heat Index’s near 100.
