With No Rain Comes High Temps

hot-weather

(Undated) – After four days of gloomy and rainy weather that brought widespread flooding, we appear to be in line for a break. According to the National Weather Service we should stay dry through the rest of the week. The latest forecast shows the chance of rain returning early next week. Now the big issue is going to be the heat. They say summer-like heat and humidity will be here through the weekend, with afternoon highs in the upper 90s and “feels like” temperatures near 100. If you are going to be out this weekend remember to stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water, wear loose-fitting, lightweight, light-colored clothing, slow down, stay indoors and avoid strenuous exercise during the hottest part of the day and take frequent breaks if working outside.
