(Undated) – County rivals squared off last night across the volleyball net as Robinson beat Oblong in straight sets 25-18, 25-18. RHS Head Coach Eric Dean says they got off to a slow start and Oblong did a nice job getting them out of their system and it took a while for them to get going. Oblong Head Coach Pam Johnson said they started out with a bang and then a couple of errors on passing caused them to panic. For the Maroons, Sydni Bailey had 5 aces and two kills. Larren Weber had 8 kills and 1 ace. Oblongs Alyssa Potts finished the night with 10 kills and 1 ace. RHS will be back in action on Thursday as they head to Marshall. Oblong heads to Villa Grove Thursday for their next contest.
