Gas Prices Continue to Fluctuate

(Undated) – Gas prices across the nation continue to bounce around amid uncertainty between the worlds two economic super powers, U.S. and China. According to Dan McTeague from Gasbuddy.com the tug of war between headlines and fundamentals has translated into little movement in overall prices at the pumps. GasBuddy Live Ticking Average shows gas prices across the nation rose 2 cents a gallon yesterday to just under 2.87, up 2 cents from last week and now 30 cents higher than what drivers paid a year ago. The statewide average for Illinois is hovering at just under three dollars a gallon at 2.94, up 54 cents from last years average. The price at the pump is slightly lower in Indiana hovering around 2.90 a gallon, up 46 cents from a year ago.
