(Oblong) – An Oblong man has been sentenced to time in the Illinois Department of Corrections. According to Crawford County States Attorney Matthew Hartrich Justin Hyatt was sentenced to three years in the IDOC with one year of Mandatory Supervised Release. Hyatt was arrested in late July and booked into the Crawford County Jail on charges of Home Invasion and Domestic Battery. He was sentenced yesterday on the Class 4 Felony charge of Criminal Trespass to a Residence. The Oblong Police Department assisted in the prosecution of this case.
