(Palestine) – The Grinch is on the loose again. According to Palestine Police Chief, Jeff Besing, the Palestine Police Department has received a handful of reports of Christmas decorations being vandalized. Besing says people are reporting that their lights have had the electrical connectors cut off. Besing reminds the public that those perpetrating this type of vandalism are committing “Criminal Damage to Property” which could be a misdemeanor or felony charge depending on the dollar amount of the damage or destruction. Besing is asking everyone to look out for your neighbors. If you see something, say something by calling Crawford County Dispatch at 618-546-1515 or Crawford County Crime Stoppers at 1-888-596-7867.
