(Palestine) – Palestine Police Chief, Jeff Besing, recently took to social media to reinforce the need for neighbors to look out for one another and report crime. According to Besing, the use of the Crimestoppers hotline was instrumental in solving the December burglary of the Saratoga Tavern in Palestine. Chief Besing would like to reinforce to the public that anytime they witness a crime taking place or have information regarding an investigation, the public needs to step up and make a call to the Crimestopper Hotline. You are also reminded that when calling the hotline you can remain anonymous.
