(Palestine) – The Palestine Unit 3 Board had a fairly light agenda for last nights meeting. Palestine Superintendent, Chris Long, reported to the board that the district is saving around $800-$1000 following the switch to “e-rate procedures” for the district. They also heard that there is still one board vacancy to fill based on the number of candidates that have filed for the April election. There is talk of a write-in candidate. In other business the board granted the Prom request for May at the High School. Finally, the board heard from Grade School Principal, Jessica Sisel, about the Title Programs, the new Sensory Room, and the 0-3 program room.
