(Hutsonville) – The recent passage of a $15 an hour minimum wage across the state is quickly becoming the topic of conversation and concern. During last night’s Hutsonville Unit 1 School Board meeting, Hutsonville Superintendent, Julie Kramer, expressed her concern as to what the change will mean to teacher salaries and the budget for the district. In other business last night the board looked at the 2019-2020 School Calendar. The board also approved a shot term substitute training agreement with the Regional Office of Education, an Auditor, and a handful of BOE policies.
