(Robinson) – The RHS Maroons Baseball Team kicked off their season with a big 13-2 win over county rival Hutsonville/Palestine yesterday. Robinson scored seven runs in the 1st inning and never looked back. Brayden Childress was the winning pitcher for the Maroons, pitching two innings, allowing one hit, one run, walking four and picking up four strike outs. Brennen Burkett took the loss for the Tigers. He pitched three innings allowing four hits and seven runs. The Maroons will be on the road Saturday for two games. The first game of the day will be against Mt. Carmel followed by a game with Eldorado.
