(Robinson) – The LTC Statesmen split a Saturday double-header with John A. Logan. A late rally in game one of the day lead the Statesmen to an 11-9 win. Reid Brown was the winning pitcher for Statesmen. He surrendered zero runs on one hit over three innings, striking out two and walking zero. Wyatt Joy and Jacob Craig entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Game two was a back and forth battle that untimely saw John A. Logan come away with the 6-5 win. Casey Bargo took the loss for LTC, surrendering five runs on six hits over three and a third innings, striking out one. The Statesmen sit at 6-11 on the season and will be back in action tomorrow when they hit the road to Vincennes.
