“Citizens Police Academy” Meets Tonight

(Robinson) – Tonight is the first night of the “Citizens Police Academy.” The Robinson Police Department and Lincoln Trail College have partnered together for this unique and informative course. Those participating in the course will get an inside track on some of the policies and procedures used in law enforcement. According to Public Information Officer, Sergeant, Dan Strauch, through the “Citizens Police Academy” the department hopes to show those in attendance a little bit about what they do, how they do it, and why they do it. The “Academy” will meet each Thursday evening from 6-9pm for the next seven weeks beginning tonight. The application deadline for the “Citizens Police Academy” was Monday.
