(Robinson) – Lincoln Trail College had Ivy Tech’s number in a weekend series. The Statesmen made it a clean sweep winning every game of the series. Game one of the Saturday double-header saw LTC double up Ivy Tech 8-4. In game two Saturday, strong pitching helped the Statesmen blank Ivy Tech 3-0. Game one of the Sunday double-header saw the Statesmen blow up Ivy Tech to the tune of 14-4. The final game of the weekend series saw LTC pick up an 8-1 win over Ivy Tech. Following the weekend series LTC improves to one game below .500 at 11-12 on the season. They will be back in action tomorrow at Fairfield.
