(Undated) – Spring officially arrived last week so now’s the time to start thinking about “Spring Cleaning.” April will be the month to do it throughout the county. Hutsonville will be the first community to clean up, on April 23rd. Oblong will host “Spring Clean Up” April 25th. It will be April 24th-26th in Palestine and May 6th-10th in Robinson. As always there are some things that will not be picked up during “Spring Clean Up,” including tires, liquid paint, flammable material, hazardous materials, propane tanks, batteries, and yard waste. Carpet must be cut in 4 foot sections to be picked up and mattress and box springs must be wrapped in plastic and sealed with tape. D & M Salvage will handle appliance and scrap metal pick up in the Robinson.
