(Robinson) – Southwestern made it a clean sweep over the Statesmen in a Monday double-header. In game one, a walk-off left the Statesmen on the wrong end of a 7-6 loss. Jacob Craig took the loss for LTC. He allowed zero hits and one run over two innings, striking out three and walking one. Conor Steinbaugh started the game for the Statesmen. He lasted five innings, allowing seven hits and five runs while striking out seven and walking zero. Southwestern rolled to a 5-1 win in game two. John Cheatwood took the loss for Statesmen. He surrendered two runs on two hits over three and a third innings, striking out one and walking one. With the loss LTC falls back below .500 at 13-14. They will be back in action today as they host Frontier for a double-header.
