(Oblong) – A late rally proved to be too much for the Oblong Panthers as they fell to Dieterich yesterday 12-2. Oblong kept it close until Dieterich pulled away with four runs in the 5th and six in the 6th. Jon Littlejohn took the loss for the Panthers. He allowed two hits and four runs over two-thirds of an inning. Ayden Musgrave started the game for Oblong, surrendering two runs on three hits over four innings, striking out six. With the loss, Oblong falls to 1-5 on the season. They will be back in action today when they host Cumberland.
