(Robinson) – The abuse of prescription drugs continues to rise and according to CMH Pharmacist, Katelyn Williams, the source of these drugs is often people’s medicine cabinets. In an effort to combat this growing problem Crawford Memorial Hospital will be joining with the Robinson Police Department for a “Prescription Drug Take Back” event this weekend. Any and all kinds of drugs will be accepted. However, please note that they cannot accept syringes or needles of any kind during this event. The “Prescription Take Back Day” will be from 10 am to 2 pm this Saturday at the East Entrance at Crawford Memorial Hospital and is being held in conjunction with the Drug Enforcement Agency’s National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day. For more information, you are asked to contact the CMH Pharmacy.
