LTC Rolls To Win Over Olney

(Robinson) – The LTC Statesmen picked up a win yesterday in a contest that saw no shortage of offense. Despite allowing four runs in the seventh inning, LTC rolled to an 18-7 win over Olney Central. LTC had a big eighth inning, scoring nine runs on their way to the route. Carter Poiry earned the victory on the pitcher’s mound for the Statesmen. He allowed five hits and three runs over three and two-thirds innings, striking out three and walking zero. Wyatt Joy, Jacob Craig, and Adam Kopff all put in work in relief out of the bullpen, steering their team to the win. LTC is at 29-20 on the season and will begin the Regional Tournament this weekend.
