(Oblong) – The Oblong Unit 4 School Board recognized a handful of students and student-athletes during last night’s board meeting. The math team was recognized with Golden Apple awards for their 4th place finish in Class 1A State Finals. Five members of the eighth-grade track were recognized for being finalists in the Junior High State finals in Peoria this year. The Oblong robotics class was also on hand to demonstrate some robots and a drone for the school board. There were 28 students who participated in the class this school year. In other business, the 2018-2019 budget amendment hearing was set for Monday, June 24th at 5:50 pm right before the Unit 4 board meeting at 6 pm.
