Former LTC Player Named Big 10 Player of the Year

(Robinson) — Former Lincoln Trail College baseball player, Jordan Brewer, has been named the Big Ten Player of the Year. Brewer, who transferred to the University of Michigan after graduating from Lincoln Trail College, led the Big Ten in batting average with a .358. He was second in slugging percentage at .637, he also had 52 RBI, 69 hits, and 19 stolen bases. LTC Baseball Coach, Kevin Bowers, says “We’re very excited for Jordan, not surprised by his success in the Big Ten.” At Lincoln Trail College, Brewer earned All-Northern District honors after his sophomore year and was a two-time All-Conference and All-Region selection.
