(Undated) – Here is hoping you’ve had a chance to get out and enjoy the dry weather the last week or so. According to the latest forecast from the National Weather Service, we could be in for an extended period of rain and perhaps thunderstorms. The latest “Hazardous Weather Outlook” says thunderstorms are forecast to move into the area late tonight and will hang around through next week. There is a marginal risk of severe thunderstorms tomorrow afternoon and evening, and again Sunday. Damaging winds and large hail will be the primary hazards. Heavy rainfall may cause localized flash flooding. There is at least a forty percent chance of rain every day next week, with several days at fifty percent or higher.
